Setting out this morning with another photo buddy Steve, we were on the quest to find us some hot air balloons in the Yarra Valley. After speaking to a balloon company that operates in the area during the week, we had our meeting place and time sorted. Unfortunately there were no balloons to be seen. We felt like we were in a reality TV show and did laugh at "The Balloon Chasers". Not to worry though. It is such a stunning place to be at during such a beautiful sunrise.
I have never been one to enjoy landscape photography, probably because of my lack of experience with long exposure photography. So today was definitely a challenge, but I do believe I have some "hero" shoots after all...and I actually enjoyed it. It was so serine at that time of morning. And these shots I would tend to miss due to the warmth of my comfy bed!
I am still cold from this morning (1 degree when I got there) and finding it sooooo hard to warm up, but now I am home, it might just be the day for a glass of red wine and several layers!
